Okay. Here's what's been happening.

Monday
Prefects' day camp. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much out of it, nor was I looking forward to it. BUT in the end, in was really really fun!

So the day started with the Bukit Timah Hill hike. I thought the worship was great and the devotions were meaningful. I learnt two new songs! The froggy song and the yo joe song. Haha. I can teach you if you want! X) Oh and * flicked tessa's hair okay. She caught me by surprise yet again! Hahaha.

Had a brainstorming session in the early afternoon. Some of the suggestions were really hilarious! E.g. for first dc, girls write a long guided essay in english to be marked by l.o.r.m.s. ;). For subsequent dcs, girls write a nice long essay in their mother tongue. Hoho. And oh yes counselling while wall-sitting!

There were games after that. In our groups, we had to lift up a pail half-filled with water with only our feet, and take off our socks and shoes while the pail was still above the ground. My group finished first (:. We were one of the only two groups that didn't get wet. We were also allowed to pour the water in our bucket into the bucket of other groups!

The rest of the games were played in the netball courts. Some other people and I decided to play barefooted. I tell you, that was a disastrous decision because we had to run around on the hot hot hot ground. Much as I love the sensation of heat against my feet, I wouldn't have gone around barefooted if I had known the skin of my soles would expand against my will. That resulted in the formation of very large blisters which still exist today, though thankfully the pain has decreased tenfold.

We got our little handbook at the end of the day. That is, together with a small slick pen! Heehee I love it!

Tuesday
Comic choir prac in the morning. Bethel's house is soooo nice! We spent quite a while gawking at everything. She has angklongs in her house too! And when you look out, you feel like you're in a temperate country of something.

Wednesday
Chinese class in the morning. Watched hitch at night. It was quite funny... but somehow I found it more romantic than comedic... which wasn't exactly what I had hoped for.

Thursday/Today
Yayness! I finally watched lemony snicket's a series of unfortunate events with minn, xin, angel, grace, dior. HEEHEE I loved every bit of the show! I touched the cinema wall after the show. It wasn't soft, but it was rough. So I guess that's enough to prevent echoing?

I had tako pachi - cheese+bacon - for lunch. Yum yum! I still prefer the octopus one though. After eating we went to kino, where limin and I occupied ourselves with a cantonese-english dictionary while yuxin searched for scores. Then we passed our time in popular until it was time to leave for bishan.

Outside bishan mrt station, we asked for directions from this lady. Afterwards we took to following some st. marg's girls. We had to walk quite a bit. Rj is so much further in then we thought it was.

Once we stepped into rj, we were greeted by white and green everywhere. I bet they need the vast amounts of green so they can rest their eyes sufficiently after long periods of studying =P.

The talk was boring. It was everything I wasn't expecting it to be. Oh well. At least I learnt I little, and got a free orange pen (:. Hey WAIT the pen isn't even of good quality so it doesn't count! Lol.
